In the 33-years that LTG Mary Legere has served in the Army, she has been recognized many times for her service. Along with being selected to be a LTG and Army G2, LTG Legere was awarded the Bronze Star for Exceptionally Meritorious Service, the Distinguished Service Medal for Meritorious Service, the National Service Medal from the Republic of Korea for Distinguished Service to the Republic of Korea, and the Legion of Merit for Meritorious Service, along with many other awards.   In addition to receiving honorary doctorate degree for exemplary service from the University of New Hampshire, LTG Legere was recently recognized as one of Washington’s Most Powerful Women for 2015.
