LTG Mary Legere – Army’s Senior Intelligence Officer

LTG Mary Legere is the U.S. Army’s Senior Intelligence Officer, and the Principal Advisor on Intelligence and Security Policy, Program and Operations for the Secretary of the Army and Army Chief of Staff. She is the fourth female Three Star General in the Army’s 240-year history, and was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General in April 2012.

Four years later, she oversees the global operations of the Army’s 58,000 person Intelligence Corps. The primary mission of Military Intelligence Corps, often referred to as MI, is to provide accurate and synchronized intelligence and electronic warfare support to military commanders.
