LTG Mary Legere – Defining Intelligence

LTG Mary Legere is a career intelligence officer in the United States Army. She was promoted to the rank of Three Star General in April of 2012 nd has served for four years as the Principal Advisor on Intelligence and Security Policy, Programs and Operations to the Secretary of the Army and Army Chief of Staff, overseeing the operations, modernization and oversight of the Army’s Intelligence Corps.

Under Secretary of the Army Joseph W. Westphal hosted a reception and Twilight Tattoo in honor of the 60th Anniversary of the Korean War on Whipple Field at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Virginia on July, 24, 2013. The war was the first test of the United Nations' resolve to stand against tyranny in all its forms. Twenty nations banded together with the United States and South Korea in a remarkable display of solidarity to turn back naked aggression and stem the tide of communism.
